Dates

The Scholarly Selective (SS) subjects are delivered in Year 3 and Year 4 of the MD course. Scholarly Selective 1 (SS1) runs from July to October; Scholarly Selective 2 (SS2) runs from February to June.

Some students may choose to undertake research projects either based in the community or which require data collection to be undertaken in the community.

Facilities

Scholarly Selective students will be supervised by individual staff members, but will also have access to all of the facilities of the Department. Students will also be fully-fledged members of the Department, with access to the Department and full involvement in all departmental activities, from seminars to parties.
