Course Development
Why Collaborate With Us?

Proven Learning Model
The key to mobile learning is to be able to present small chunks of learning in a logical sequence which allows students to stop and start learning as required. This series of small chunks accumulate towards tutorial and assessment blocks. As more of these blocks are assembled together, it creates a sequence of subjects for the foundations of your course.
This unit is led by Professor Alistair Royse and Professor Colin Royse who have more than 14 years of experience in developing and evolving online Mobile Learning solutions for Clinical Ultrasound. Our Award Courses received the Teaching Award for Excellence in Program Development by the Melbourne Medical School in 2011.
-
Streamlined eLearning Platform
Our current delivery infrastructure development has been driven by listening to what the students want. The main area of focus has been mobility, the students want to be about to study in their own time and location, they want to utilise technology to make this easier and they want responsive support so they can continue to study. We have created a unique mobile eLearning Platform that supports these needs.
All course content is available online and on multiple devices. Content is in the form of tutorials, as well as assessments and case studies. These case studies help reinforce the knowledge through multiple choice questions. We provide internal ongoing support and technical know-how for enrolled students. Student will have indefinite access to the course and any subsequent updates.
-
Direct Accreditation Process
We assist our clients to ensure the correct conditions are met to attain the highest level of accreditation possible. This promotes the relevance of the course to specific audiences and drives enrolments. Our team includes RACGP Education Activity Representatives (EAR) who support, improve and accredit courses to meet the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) requirements.
The accreditation process may include organisations such as Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM), Australian Diabetes Educators Association (ADEA) and Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM).

Testimonial
MLU has proved to be exactly what we required to establish and run these courses. The organisation of the unit is of an extremely high standard. They set up timelines for material delivery and through regular meetings have ensured we have been able to deliver an outstanding product. As well as highly skilled project management their experience in managing academics has been excellent and all of our team have learnt immense amounts from them. In addition, their management of the students has meant our team has only had to concentrate on the academic portion of course delivery and been able to leave the other requirements of course delivery to a highly professional support team.
