The National Health & Medical Research Council (NH&MRC) Centre of Research Excellence in Cognitive Health was launched on Wednesday 15 June.

The multi-site Centre, an international collaboration of universities and research institutions  which  has been awarded $2.5million from the NH&MRC has two major sites: the Australian National University (ANU) and the University of Melbourne, where it is led by Professor Nicola Lautenschlager from the Department of Psychiatry. It will identify risk factors, conduct intervention studies to improve cognitive function, and develop guidelines and modelling for the development and implementation of new brain health policies to support cognition during the ageing process.
