Development and validation of triage guidelines for colonoscopy and gastroscopy

Project Details

We are working with the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services to develop and validate triage guidelines for colonoscopy and gastroscopy. We will use data obtained from the RAGE project to validate these guidelines, examining the outcomes of applying these guidelines on proportions of referrals designated as urgent, and their sensitivity and positive predictive value for diagnosing cancer.
