Research Overview

The Digital Health group at St Vincent's Hospital develops, integrates and evaluates software applications to support clinical research and evidence-based clinical decision making. We establish, support and promote digital health interventions that provide practical outcomes for patients, researchers, clinicians and educators.

We have worked with partners at The Universities of Melbourne and Sydney and public and private health services to successfully implement a range of software-driven projects to enhance clinical and research activities. This includes applications such as automating chronic disease risk calculations, electronic decision support for dislipidemia diagnosis and management and patient reported outcome measurement for clinical trials.

The Digital Health Group acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we live, learn and work, and pays respect to their Elders past and present, and to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
