Patient Reported Outcome Measurement
Project Details
With increasing use of digital tools for the capture and recording of Patient Repored Outcome Measures (PROMs) and Patient Reported Experience Measures (PREMs) in Chronic Disease research and management, it is vital that these tools be critically analysed for accessibility and reproducability.
A participant's medical condition, linguistic or digital literacy can effect their likelihood and ability to participate in such data collection activities, potentially introducing selection bias excluding a key population.
Our PROM and PREM project is undertaking 2 key activities:
- Integrating in-application metrics for quantitative and qualitative assessment of digital survey accessibility.
- Development and evaluation of an accessibility-focused, multi-lingual remote survey and communication application for clinical trial PROM capture and regular clinical service delivery PREM.
