Palliative Care Provision for People Experiencing Vulnerability
+61 3 9231 1270
Palliative and end of life care services are widely established throughout Australia, yet access to services remains inconsistent and varied.
This project explores the palliative and end of life care provision for specific patient groups experiencing vulnerability. The care of those experiencing mental health illness, problems of addiction, homelessness, prisoners, and those who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander will be examined through a medical record audit and focus groups with care providers.
