Imaging

Project Details

The Imaging research in the Healthy Ageing Program uses Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI), Diffusion Tensor (DT) imaging and Positron Emission Tomography (PET) data from the Women's Healthy Ageing Project to examine age-related changes in brain function and size.

Our current Imaging projects include:

  • White matter hyperintensities
  • The early detection of age associated diseases
  • Amyloid accrual

Researchers

  • Associate Professor Jodie Gawryluk
  • Dr Rowa Aljondi
  • Dr Ebrahim Hassan
  • Ashleigh Parker
  • Alec Jamieson
