Celebrating young authors

DGPPC Honours Alumni, Planning Saw has co-authored an editorial that was recently published in the Medical Journal of Australia (MJA). The editorial, titled "Who holds power in decision making for young people's future?", is a significant contribution to the Future Healthy Countdown 2030 supplement. This work focuses on policy improvement for the health and wellbeing of children and young people, bringing together expert evidence and perspectives to guide meaningful action.

Planning also presented at the Future Healthy Countdown 2030 Launch, held on 28 November at Parliament House, Canberra. The event, hosted by the Parliamentary Friends of Child and Adolescent Health and the Murdoch Children's Research Institute, focused on the importance of listening to youth voices when shaping public health policies.
