DGPPC forms new partnership with Torch Recruit
The Department of General Practice and Primary Care (DGPPC) is embarking on a major collaboration with Torch Recruit Pty Ltd to support the development and conduct of primary care-based research with a specific focus on the recruitment of suitable participants for clinical trials.
The new partnership will be known as General Practice Clinical Trials Australia (GPCTA).
The GPCTA partnership leverages DGPPC’s two key practice-based research networks, VicREN and PARTNER, with Torch Recruit’s innovative practice-based technology that streamlines the identification of eligible participants for clinical trials. Through DGPPC’s expanding MRFF-funded PARTNER network, the collaboration will be uniquely placed to reach Australians living in rural and remote areas, vastly increasing accessibility to clinical trials and improving health outcomes.
This is an exciting new adventure and we look forward to working with the team at Torch Recruit to further primary care research.
