Funding success for AMI Virtual care trial

Seed funding has been awarded by the Baker Department of Cardiometabolic Health to conduct a trial which aims to establish the feasibility and acceptability of a new nurse-led, technology-enabled model of health care delivery, called Risk-Guided DMP, to reduce readmissions following an acute myocardial infarction (AMI), thereby enhancing recovery and survivorship.

The objectives are to assess:

  1. Feasibility and acceptability of Risk-Guided DMP.
  2. Effectiveness of Risk-Guided DMP in reducing readmissions or death after AMI.

Congratulations to the team involved.
