Seeking GP Perspectives on management of hearing loss

GPs play a pivotal role in how adults who have hearing loss seek help and use audiology services, but we don’t know a great deal about their perspectives of this role, and if there are ways we can support them in fulfilling it. Please help us find out!

A new study led by researchers at the Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology, in collaboration with the Department of General Practice, is seeking to understand and support the role of GPs in managing age-related hearing loss. GPs and practice staff are invited to complete up to three online surveys at a time and place that suits them. There will be a gap of approximately four weeks between each survey and each survey will take between 15 minutes to 30 minutes. For every survey completed, participants will go into the draw for 1 of 5 $100 Coles/Myer vouchers.
