Co-design and Healthcare Improvement Publication Awarded Paper of the Year

Congratulations to Associate Professor Victoria Palmer and lead author Tara Dimopoulos-Bick whose publication: “Anyone can co-design?”: A case study synthesis of six experience-based co-design (EBCD) projects for healthcare systems improvement in New South Wales, Australia”, was recently awarded ‘Article of the Year 2019’ by the editorial board of the journal of Patient Experience. The paper explores the emergent issues in experience based co-design participation and implementation across a number of quality improvement projects led by the Agency for Clinical Innovation across mental health, rehabilitation, blood and bone marrow transplant, brain injury rehabilitation, urinary incontinence and the intellectual disability setting.

This success builds upon the ongoing knowledge transfer and translational collaborations forged between the two institutions.
