Distinguished Award | Dr Victoria Palmer

Distinguished paper award for innovative trial that builds an evidence base for engagement in service re-design and psychosocial recovery.

The CORE study is a world first trial that aimed to test if a modified version of the novel Mental Health Experience Co-Design (MH ECO) intervention improved psychosocial recovery for people affected by severe mental illness. The first iteration of CORE study outcomes was recently awarded the Australasian Association for Academic Primary Care (AAAPC) Most Distinguished Paper Award. The paper will be presented during the AAAPC Plenary session at the forthcoming PHC research conference in August 2018.
