International Domestic Violence and Health Conference (IDVH 2018)

Registrations for IDVH 2018 are now open!

With over 150 abstracts received from more than 15 countries and from all around Australia, we are excited to host the first international conference to headline early intervention for domestic violence in health settings.

With a focus on children and young people and their parents/carers, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and other Indigenous peoples, sessions will explore how to integrate knowledge and research and translate it into action for improving the safety, health and wellbeing of families and communities.

Our program sets itself apart from other conferences by offering interactive and dynamic panel discussions and workshops, hands-on demonstrations of innovative models of practice and a program of social and well-being activities for delegates.  A safe and trauma-informed conference, our program and space will be relevant and respectful to survivors and those working in the domestic violence area. Our conference especially honours the voices of survivors and celebrates the culture and kinship of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

We invite you to join us! And please promote our conference to your networks.
