PC4 National Manager, Kristi Milley won the prestigious Best Short Oral Presentation at the Cancer and Primary Care Research International Network (Ca-PRI) conference in Groningen, The Netherlands.

PC4 National Manager, Kristi Milley won the prestigious Best Short Oral Presentation at the Cancer and Primary Care Research International Network (Ca-PRI) conference in Groningen, The Netherlands. The conference brought together the latest international research from prevention, early diagnosis, survivorship care and palliative care in cancer.  Kristi’s presentation Look who is talking now: Cancer in primary care on Twitter discussed an exploratory study that investigated the type of users and information shared about cancer in primary care on Twitter. The study provided a unique insight into how primary care across the cancer continuum is presented on Twitter.

The University of Melbourne was well represented with our very own Professor Jon Emery, Dr Jennifer Walker, Sophie Chima, Emily Habgood and Sibel Saya, also presenting current research to the international audience.
