Students in Primary Care Research (SPCR) Annual Writing retreat

SPCR members engaged in intensive writing sessions to work on various aspects of their PhD or Masters projects.

The week began with a motivating workshop “Turbocharge Your Writing”, presented by Dr. Maria Gardiner (Co-Director at ThinkWell & Research Associate at Flinders University). Along with intensive writing, SPCR members were given the opportunity to practice mindfulness with Katie Underwood as she delivered an ethereal sound meditation. SPCR members also ran morning yoga sessions, a painting session, and reflection sessions to discuss writing experiences during the week. The 2021 SPCR Writing Retreat is supported by the Graduate Student Association (GSA) with $2,000 of the GSA Special Grant.
