PhD Candidate, Timothy Kariotis, off to Europe for Research Training

PhD Candidate Timothy Kariotis has been accepted into a research training program with the European Union’s Institute for Innovation and Technology.

Timothy Kariotis, PhD candidate in the Department of General Practice will be jetting off to Europe later this month to undertake two weeks of research training with the European Union’s Institute of Innovation and Training in Leiden. The training provides participants with the skills to link their academic research with industry, while also building connections with peers from across Europe. As well as participating in this training Timothy will also be attending the Global Shapers Summit at the World Economic Forum in Geneva and will be visiting colleagues at Birmingham University and Nottingham University in the UK.
