Expanding and strengthening the Victorian Primary Care Practice-Based Research Network.

Dr Rachel Canaway commenced as the new Victorian Research Network (VicReN) Manager in October. She brings experience in research and project management from previous academic and consulting roles. Rachel is co-ordinating and expanding the primary care practice-based research network while working to strengthen and nurture the community of practice between clinicians, academics and other stakeholders. She will also lead recruitment of general practices to PATRON.

Together, PATRON and VicReN enable research important to primary health care to inform policy and practice, towards improved outcomes for patients and quality of working life for practitioners.
