Dr Barbara Starfield Award – Jason Chiang, PhD Candidate

Congratulations to Jason Chiang who was awarded the Dr Barbara Starfield Award for first place in the Distinguished Trainee Award at the North American Primary Care Research Group Annual Conference

At the Annual North American Primary Care Research Group (NAPCRG) Conference in Chicago, USA on 9th-13th November 2018, Jason Chiang, PhD Candidate was awarded the Dr Barbara Starfield Award for first place in the Distinguished Trainee Award for his work "Associations Between Multimorbidity, All-Cause Mortality and Glycaemic Outcomes in People with Type 2 Diabetes: A Systematic Review". Jason was recognised for outstanding contribution to the primary care body of knowledge through excellence in research.

This award is intended to promote and acknowledge outstanding completed primary care research conducted by trainees (students, residents, and fellows). This is an amazing achievement to be recognised internationally as the top trainee and early career researcher at one of the biggest primary care research conferences in the world.
