The DME has a thriving and growing group of PhD candidates involved in a range of research projects examining different facets of health professional practice and education. In 2019, the PhD community of students supervised by DME academics is over 20. On Wednesday 27th March 2019, we celebrated this growing community of researchers by launching a newly refurbished and repurposed RHD room (N725) within the DME. Experienced students gave presentations about their research journey and tips for those beginning their PhD. Details of the types of projects and the variety of health disciplines and backgrounds are available on our new graduate researcher profile page.

The DME welcomes the following PhD students who commenced their candidature in 2019: Audrey Lim, Andrew Huang, Keryn Bolte, Emma Jeffs, and Rhea Liang. The department also congratulates Samantha Tai on completing her thesis and its successful examination.
