Welcome Charlotte Denniston: Lecturer in work integrated learning

The Department of Medical Education has welcomed some exciting new faces to our academic team over the last year.

Charlotte Denniston is a Lecturer in Work Integrated Learning in the Department of Medical Education. Charlotte’s clinical background is in physiotherapy. She recently (January 2018) completed her PhD in health professions’ education at Monash University. Charlotte’s PhD thesis explored teaching and learning communication skills in the health professions. She also has a part-time position at the College of Intensive Care Medicine of Australia and New Zealand as Education Advisor. At the DME, Charlotte teaches in the EXCITE program and in our suite of health professions’ education custom programs. Her current research focusses on elements of workplace learning in the health professions, including clinical supervision, learning cultures, and feedback.
