Teaching and Learning

Students will be able to perform ultrasound to explore the human ‘living’ anatomy and physiology and some pathology of the heart, lungs, abdomen, pelvis and blood vessels using high fidelity simulators and using ultrasound equipment on their own or another student's arms.

These skills form the foundation for point-of-care-ultrasound assisted diagnosis and procedures that is becoming an essential skill for all medical and surgical specialties.
