Zuspan Award and Austin Life Science Research Prize for 2016

PhD student Roxanne Hastie from the Translational Obstetrics Group received the Zuspan Award at 2016 ISSHP XX World Congress (International Society for the study of Hypertension in Pregnancy) 21-27 October 2016 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The award is given to young investigator who presents the most outstanding clinical work in relation to the study of Hypertension in Pregnancy. The title of Roxanne’s presentation is “Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor regulates sFlt1 in placenta”.

Roxanne also won the Austin Life Science University of Melbourne Research Prize at Austin Research Fest in October 2016 with the presentation titled “New medical therapeutics to treat ectopic pregnancy”.
