2021 Honours Student Conference Prize Winners

Congratulations to Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology Honours student Aoife Glackin who won CSL Best Poster Award at the Honours Student Conference which was held on Friday 29th October 2021.

Aoife’s project “The experiences of Oncofertility care and decision-making in a national sample of adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer survivors and parents”

Special mention also goes to the runner up who is also an honours student in the Dept, Faith Andres for their project “The Unsolved Puzzle of the Placenta: The role of Endothelial Protein C Receptor (EPCR) in Preeclampsia”.

The Honours Student Conference which was held online on Gather Town on Friday 29^th October had 8 oral presentations, 8 three-minute thesis presentations, 32 posters and an engaging panel discussion about career opportunities for Honours students. The students took the opportunity to showcase their work and celebrate their achievements with their peers.
