Department Obstetrics and Gynaecology NHMRC Funding Success 2020/2021

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology are thrilled to announce that the following researchers have been successful in the latest NHRMC Grant Scheme which are to commence in 2021.

NHMRC Investigator Grant
- Professor Suzanne Garland – Improving Reproductive Health Through Infectious Diseases Research
- Professor Martha Hickey – Better evidence and new tools to improve health after surgical menopause
- Dr Sarah Lensen – Towards evidence-based use of IVF add-ons in Australia

MRFF Investigator Grant (Priority Round)
- Associate Professor Lisa Hui – Closing the critical knowledge gaps in perinatal genomics

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology also extend their congratulations to the following researchers were successful in the NHMRC Grant Schemes that have commenced in 2020.

NHMRC Synergy Grant
- Professor Stephen Tong - Developing new diagnostics to prevent stillbirth

NHMRC Investigator Grant
- Dr Roxanne Hastie - Synergising laboratory and epidemiological research to improve maternal and neonatal health

NHMRC Ideas Grant
- Dr Anthea Lindquist - Pregnancy and childhood outcomes associated with novel medication use in early pregnancy following IVF-assisted conception
