Congratulations to Prof Natalie Hannan, Dr Lucy Bartho and Prof Tu’uhevaha Kaitu’u-Lino for each being awarded the 2025 - Trevor B Kilvington Bequest

Prof Natalie Hannan was awarded the bequest with Bianca Fato and Dr Natasha de Alwis to investigate Does placental dysfunction alter placental extracellular vesicle cargo and their affects on the maternal vasculature in preeclampsia.

Dr Lucy Bartho received the bequest for her work - a new treatment option for preeclampsia.

Prof Tu’uhevaha Kaitu’u-Lino was awarded for her project A critical player in preeclampsia pathogenesis?

The Trevor B Kilvington Bequest is offered to salaried and honorary researchers in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Newborn Health to conduct research into preeclampsia (as per the trust terms, for research “into the still unsolved problems associated with pregnancy particularly the causes of hypertension, eclampsia and renal dysfunction”).
