Strategic Grants for Outstanding Women

The Department are so proud to announce two more worthy researchers to the list of alumni for the Strategic Grants for Outstanding Women. Prof Joanne Said and A/Prof Michelle Peate are part of a cohort of 14 recipients of the 2023 scheme. This scheme aims to support high-performing early and mid-career women in academia in advancing their careers. Run biennially, we have had success in each round so far (previous awardees from our department: Prof Natalie Hannan, A/Prof Yasmin Jayasinghe, and Prof Lisa Hui), which speaks to the outstanding performance of our EMCRs.
