2022 Brilliant Women in Digital Health Awards

Congratulations to Kate Lucas on being recognised for outstanding achievements and contributions in digital health in the 2022 Brilliant Women in Digital Health Awards.

Kate Lucas is a highly valued honorary staff member of the Department of Paediatrics. As the Director of the Centre for Health Analytics at the Melbourne Children’s Campus, Kate has recognised that if her team captured the clinical information when treating patients, they could use that information to learn from every patient, every interaction, every time. They can use this data to deliver better outcomes for everyone. She is excited about the use of data in health and the potential to deliver much better, more efficient and more effective care using that data.

The 2022 Brilliant Women in Digital Health Awards are presented by Telstra Health, aiming to recognise and celebrate women in digital health for their incredible achievements, and contribute to greater gender diversity in digital health. Award recipients have been recognised for their contributions to mentoring, medical research, technology development, improving health outcomes using digital health, and introducing new digital processes for the delivery of health and aged care.
