Thesis Title: Non-invasive prenatal testing: beyond clinical utility

Thesis Summary: This thesis examined the ethical issues associated with the widening scope of non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT). A survey of Australian NIPT users on fetal sex determination informed philosophical analysis arguing personal motivations are important when evaluating the scope of NIPT. This has important policy implications for implementing NIPT.
