Thesis Title: Inter-arm blood pressure differences at rest and exercise: significance in children and potential mechanisms
Thesis Summary: Melanie Clarke found that inter-arm blood pressure differences can have a significant impact on the identification of high blood pressure in children and adolescents. She found that inter-arm blood pressure differences are common in this group, increase in magnitude with exercise, and may arise due to arterial stiffness differences between arms.
