Professor Amanda Fosang awarded AM

Congratulations to Professor Mandy Fosang who became a member of the Order of Australia in the Australia Day 2021 Honours.  Mandy, who retired from the Department in 2019, was recognised for her significant service to medical research in the field of arthritis and to international societies.  In addition to her research, Mandy played a significant role in leading the Department’s BSc(Honours) program for a number of years, giving a huge amount of her time and energy to ensure a great program for these students.  A wonderful acknowledgement of her career, the Department congratulates Mandy on this great achievement.
