Study Rural Doctor of Medicine in Shepparton

Rural students are being urged to apply for the Doctor of Medicine with the University of Melbourne, where training for the entire degree will be conducted in rural Victoria.

As part of the University of Melbourne’s commitment to rural health, the Melbourne Medical School in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences will be offering a Rural Pathway option within the Doctor of Medicine (MD Rural Pathway).

Another major change commencing from 2022 is the selection process where applicants are able to apply to the Doctor of Medicine once they have completed any undergraduate degree in ANY discipline or university from 2012. *Applicants applying to the MD Rural Pathway are not required to sit the GAMSAT.

Applications close at 5pm on Monday 31st May.
