Coming in 2019

OPUS will transform the research and practice landscape of joint replacement surgery, promote critically needed stewardship to optimise management for better outcomes and reduced costs for this high volume and expensive procedure.

How can we back up such claims?

Well, with our multi-disciplinary team we have all the research ready to work through, and our key policy constituents of Tony Scott, Philip Clarke and Stephen Duckett are also ready to help us with these new developments. But with such a big problem effecting research, policy, private industry, government and the community, how do we make the rapid changes required?

We get all these people in the same room to discuss all the issues, exceptions and roadblocks. Once we know where all the issues lye, it's just a matter of breaking them down one at a time. And if your interested in seeing all that come to light and hear about our research, the OPUS Interactive Forum is for you.

You can keep in touch with us on Twitter @OPUSunimelb to hear more about our plans as they develop and the conversations we are having in the build up to this Forum. One of Many OPUS Forums to come.

It will be a major step in breaking through the red tap surrounding Osteoarthritis management and Total Joint Replacement. Tell us what you think. Tell us what you want to hear about. Most of all, tell us about what YOU want the outcomes of the Forum to be.
