MMS Indigenous Development Grants

We are pleased to announce the launch of the inaugural round of a new grant scheme in the Melbourne Medical School, the MMS Indigenous Development Grants.

About the grants

Developed by the Melbourne Medical School in collaboration with MDHS Indigenous Development, these grants are designed to foster the career development of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander professional and academic staff, including prospective staff, and graduate research students in our School.

Grants between $10,000 and $40,000 are available to support eligible activities for up to 12 months. We welcome applications from individuals as well as teams. Supported activities include a wide range of teaching, research and administrative projects.

This grant round opens 9am Wednesday 6 October and closes 5pm Thursday 4 November.

Before applying

Support and mentorship from School and Faculty leadership will be available to all who express interest in this initiative. We encourage eligible candidates to contact to Patricia Gigliuto (Melbourne Medical School) or Josh Cubillo (MDHS Indigenous Development) who are available to provide application development support.
