MMS Indigenous Development Grants

The Melbourne Medical School Indigenous Development Grants support the career development of the School's Indigenous staff and students.

About the scheme

Launched in 2021 by the Melbourne Medical School in collaboration with the MDHS Indigenous Development team, these grants are designed to foster the career development of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander professional and academic staff, including prospective staff, and graduate research students in our School.

In the inaugural round, four grants of up to $35,000 were awarded to support career development activities of recipients for a 12 month period.

This scheme is administered by the MMS Research Support team with the support of the MDHS Indigenous Development. For further information please contact mms-research@unimelb.edu.au.
