Become a Clinical Assessment Examiner for the Doctor of Medicine
The Department of Medical Education (DME) is inviting continuing, fixed-term and honorary academic staff to participate as examiners for the upcoming Doctor of Medicine (MD) clinical assessments, commencing Friday 30 October.
What’s involved?
Clinical assessments give students the opportunity to demonstrate the knowledge and skills they have developed throughout the MD. Examiners may participate in:
- Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs) - practical assessments of students’ clinical skills and competence.
- Standardised Case Based Discussions (SCBDs) - assessing areas including history taking, examination, diagnostic formulation and patient management.
Participating is an opportunity to contribute your clinical and educational expertise to the MD program and support the development of our future doctors.
