2024 No-Bell Prize competition
The Melbourne Medical School Research Support team has announced that 52 graduate researchers from across the Faculty are participating in the 2024 No-Bell Prize competition.

To help applicants prepare for the competition's heats, the MMS Research Support Team ran a Science Communication workshop facilitated by Associate Professor Cathy Quinlan and Dr Mihiri Silvia and a Storytelling workshop facilitated by Dr Andrew Tagg. The workshops were well attended and provided a useful and engaging experience for graduate researchers.
Competition heats were held throughout July, and the top presenters from each heat will advance to the No-Bell Prize Final, set for Wednesday 21 August. The heats are proving to be an excellent opportunity for graduate researchers to communicate their research and generously contribute to the presentations of their fellow presenters by asking thoughtful and interesting questions during the Q&A component.
You're invited to come along to witness engaging science communication and hear about the diverse research conducted within our Faculty.
