With over 60 prospective medical students and their families, it was an excellent opportunity to showcase the Shepparton campus and local facilities. Visitors explored the campus through guided tours and engaged in a variety of interactive sessions designed to highlight the unique opportunities available on campus.

Highlights included:

  • A Yarn Up: stories, study and a feed session
  • So you want to be a rural doctor? Debate
  • Doctor of Medicine (Rural Pathway) information session

The day also coincided with open events at other local institutions, showcasing the Goulburn Valley’s rich and diverse tertiary landscape. The event offered a glimpse into studying medicine rurally and hopefully inspired a few future University of Melbourne students along the way.
