Medical Pantry is a Victorian medical charity that helps divert an estimated 15,000 tonnes of medical waste from landfill each year.

Dr Nguyen is the CEO of Medical Pantry and Dr Dao is the organisation’s Head of Innovation. Together, they are working on an NHMRC-funded project led by Associate Professor Forbes McGain to understand the role charities can play in reducing waste in healthcare supply chains. The project focuses on identifying opportunities to minimise medical supply waste through waste audits, stakeholder insights and supporting the redistribution of unused items.
