Case Study Review Support for NHMRC Investigator Grants
The first round of the new National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) grant schemes are nearly upon us and the Melbourne Medical School is offering a targeted support service for Investigator Grant applicants.
While we are all eagerly awaiting the funding rules to be released, we do know "Research Impact" will be an important assessment criterion for this scheme and will be evaluated through short case studies to be supplied by applicants.
Dr Tanya Bradford, who works in marketing and business development for universities, clinical research and healthcare companies, will be reviewing individual draft case studies and providing feedback and one-to-one coaching for applicants to enhance their use of language and narrative.
The School has planned to offer this case study support service from mid November 2018 until the end of year.
Reviews will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to register your interest and begin preparing your case studies as soon as possible.
Researchers who are considering applying for an Investigator Grant are encouraged to submit a Notice of Intent: https://ric-noticeofintent.app.unimelb.edu.au/apex/f?p=ric_noi:noi_form.
This will assist the University, Faculty and School to communicate relevant updates and target support and resources to prospective scheme applicants.
