PC4 Scientific Symposium

The Primary Care Collaborative Cancer Clinical Trials Group ​(PC4) will hold their 2019 Scientific Symposium on April 4 at the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre in Melbourne.

The event will mark their 10th anniversary and provide an opportunity to view Professor Jon Emery's research team showcase.

This multidisciplinary meeting includes many invited speakers, covering the primary care cancer spectrum, including prevention and diagnosis, survivorship, and palliative care research.

The keynote speaker is Professor Ross Lawrenson, Professor of Population Health, at the University of Waikato, New Zealand.

Kate Broun and Claire O'Reilly from the Cancer Council Victoria will present new initiatives in their screening and early detection programs designed to reduce health disparities in unscreened and underscreened communities.
