Paper of the Year : Co-design and Healthcare

Congratulations to Associate Professor Victoria Palmer from the Department of General Practice, the University of Melbourne and lead author Tara Dimopoulos-Bick (Agency for Clinical Innovation) whose publication: “Anyone can co-design?”: A case study synthesis of six experience-based co-design (EBCD) projects for healthcare systems improvement in New South Wales, Australia”, was recently awarded ‘Article of the Year 2019’ by the editorial board of the journal of Patient Experience. The paper explores the emergent issues in experience based co-design participation and implementation across a number of quality improvement projects led by the Agency for Clinical Innovation across mental health, rehabilitation, blood and bone marrow transplant, brain injury rehabilitation, urinary incontinence and the intellectual disability setting.
