The software enables electronic self-registration and monitors patients in their homes, with vital signs sent to the hospital via smartphone. Dr Dutch’s work has reduced strain on the health system and saved lives. The software – titled the RMH Home Monitoring Project – is funded by the Doherty Institute and also provided to all health services at no cost, to ensure maximum benefit to the community.
