Staff Excellence Awards
Congratulations on behalf of the Melbourne Medical School (MMS) to all staff who were nominated for the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences (FMDHS) Staff Excellence Awards. Thank you also to staff who took the time to nominate others and recognise the important contributions their peers have made in the University, the broader Australian community and internationally.
MMS had excellent representation across a broad range of award categories which is a testament to the quality and range of achievements of MMS staff. This is particularly notable given the challenges faced by staff in 2020 as a result of the pandemic.
MMS Staff Award Applications by Category
The awards were announced at an online ceremony hosted by the Dean, Professor Shitij Kapur, and Deputy Dean, Professor Jane Gunn, with presentations made by the Faculty's senior leadership on Monday 23 November 2020. Staff from across the Faculty attended to celebrate the achievements of their colleagues. MMS staff were well represented amongst the award recipients across all categories for their outstanding contributions and commitment to Faculty values.
