ARC Future Fellowship

Associate Professor Natalie Hannan in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology has been awarded an ARC Future Fellowship for Purinergic signalling in placentation and vascular adaptation in pregnancy in the amount of $1.071m.

Natalie leads the Therapeutics Discovery and Vascular Group (laboratories based at both the Mercy Hospital for Women and at the Northern Health Research Precinct) and has a dedicated focus on reproduction, understanding serious pregnancy complications and Women’s health.

Her research aims to identify and develop novel treatment strategies for these conditions, particularly preeclampsia and hypertension in pregnancy.
