Doctor of Medicine redesign project update
The Department of Medical Education is currently finalising the curriculum redesign of year two of the new Doctor of Medicine program. A significant amount of work has taken place in preparation for the updated program to be rolled out to students next year.
The redesigned program will see students work through weekly online modules relevant to their rotations and placements at a time and place that suits them best.
We continue to consult with staff and students to ensure we are building a high-quality blended delivery model with engaging online resources to support both face-to-face and asynchronous learning.

New and extended Discovery topics will also be available, to allow students to tailor their medical degree to reflect their interests or take advantage of prior learning.
