Kate Brody wins 2022 LMA/VIA Image Competition

Kate Brody from Department of Otolaryngology based at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital has won first place in the Volume Imaging Category of the 2022 LMA/VIA Image Competition.

Kate Brody’s award-winning image ‘The Cochlear Implant in Motion’.

Kate’s entry is titled The Cochlear Implant in Motion, which was run through Light Microscopy Australia and Volume Imaging Australia.

The above image is of the cochlea which was imaged using the Ultramicroscope II at the Biological Optical Microscopy Platform.
