Professor Nigel Curtis named in the Top 250 Australian researchers

Professor Nigel Curtis, Professor of Paediatric Infectious Diseases in The Department of Paediatrics, was named the field leader in paediatric medicine in The Australian’s recent list of the Top 250 Australian researchers.

The list is presented by The Australian and details the nation’s top researchers in 250 fields of academic endeavour.

The award measures success based on the number of citations by other researchers of papers that have been published in the top 20 journals in each field, determined by the H-index of journals. This is a measure which considers both the quality and the impact of the research.
