Reconciliation Week Cultural Tour with Rumbalara

To celebrate National Reconciliation week, the student-led Outlook Rural Health Club organised a cultural tour at Rumbalara Aboriginal Co-operative on Tuesday 31 May in Mooroopna for rural medical students.

Rural medical students participated in a cultural tour at Rumbalara in celebration of Reconciliation Week.

Facilitated by Aunty Cheryl, the tour commenced at the Rumbalara Harmony Centre and included traditional gumnut necklace making, a smoking ceremony, a presentation on the history of the Rumbalara Aboriginal Co-operative, a tour of Rumbalara and their medical centre, a war memorial visit, and a journey to the flats.
