Inaugural Immunology in Cardiovascular and Cardiometabolic Disease Symposium
The Baker Department of Cardiometabolic Health are delighted to hold the inaugural Immunology in Cardiovascular and Cardiometabolic Disease Symposium on Thursday 5 October 2023. The symposium aims to provide a platform to connect people who are interested in the immune system and cardiovascular disease.
Dr Jonathan Noonan, Group Leader in the Atherothrombosis and Vascular Biology Laboratory, Baker Department of Cardiometabolic Health, and Professor Karlheinz Peter, Head of the Baker Department of Cardiometabolic Health.
Organised by Dr Jonathan Noonan and Professor Karlheinz Peter from the Baker Department of Cardiometabolic Health, the symposium will host excellent national and international speakers, focusing on how the immune system impacts communicable and non-communicable cardiovascular and cardiometabolic pathologies.
The conference will be opened by Professor Michael Parker, Director of Bio21, and speakers include:
